A dentist by day with a calm but cold personality. Hiiro smiles with an apparent kindness, but no one truly feels a genuine light behind his eyes. At his absolute worst, he is manipulative and sadistic towards those he thinks truly deserve it, the weakest of the weak, and those who turn pliable and fragile under the touch of his fingers.

Hiiro is rumored to be responsible for the killings of people, even innocents, who become afflicted by anomalous possessions, as he feels there is no other way to save them. The only way out is death, no matter how cruel that may be.

He knows there is a deep irony in ending the lives of others affected by possession, as Hiiro is corrupted and entangled with an anomaly too. It's only natural, given that he devoured its 'heart' during his captivity under its thumb, and it wrapped its tendrils around his body and mind.

A question lingers in his thoughts—how much of his current self is this beast, and how much has still managed to remain from his former self? He remains tormented by memories of his parents and other loved ones, all perishing to the very thing that binds his soul together. Because of this, Hiiro feels as though every night he loses the things that make one truly human.

A certain photojournalist woman also enters his life and confuses him much further with the logic she operates at; he tries to untangle why she is so insistent she needs to convince others who cause so much harm out of it, rather than teach them a harsh truth. It's making things much more difficult than they have to be.

Still, Hiiro lives on the boundary between the shadows of nightmares and a reality that's too bright. But he can't say he's too dissatisfied with what he has now, as long as his heart still beats.

Oh! That sounds scary. I genuinely don't know though! I logged him into Toyhouse almost 6 years ago, but I feel he's existed way before that.

I only know a few things from that back then:

• His disappearance/captivity due to the anomaly his body is fused with (I call it 'the filth' for now but frankly I don't think this is interesting OOPS?) has been retained since the very start.
• Okay, he used to be pale? For some fucking reason? I'm really scared!
• There were two secondary characters but I lowkey threw the other one in the trash because I hate yaoi. Kidding. Akira remains standing, but she needs to be fleshed out better and unfortunately I like Hiiro more than her. :(

So I didn't come back to him for a few years, but I believe some time 1-2 years ago I decided to work on him again and that's when I realized I deserve to have myself beat up with a large rock then die a brutal death. I Am Kidding. Again.

Another thing was he was a professor for a pretty long time, though at some point I decided being a doctor would actually be more in line with some plot beats especially because he'd be interacting with a lot of people besides colleagues and just students and really, that also means more targets. Oh well…!

[VISIBLY CLENCHING MY FIST AND IT'S BLEEDING] There's more I could say. I'm an ikeoji-obsessed otaku who is Very Normal About It™. I like glasses and beauty marks/moles too. I also love medical malpractice as long as it's not happening to me.

…You can guess what's wrong from there. Sadly.

[other #notsofun facts]

• Fond of black coffee. I don't think he's heavy on milk or sugar or anything. It's kind of gross to me but #OK.
• Has some kind of mini-library in his house that houses classic lit (mostly Gothic and/or historical). He also has medical books or papers notably those about the body or dentistry in particular. It's a little morbid though. #JustMyOpinion.
• Other than reading, he likes going to the cafe and getting his usual black coffee or watching drama or horror movies in his spare time. He isn't too inclined towards hanging out with other people. But he will never cite fatigue as an excuse. He will always show up if you ask him to, and is in fact very punctual and on the clock.
• His type in women and men are those who will play along with his behaviors, create that sort of push-and-pull will-they-won't-they friction, but also will easily, uh, follow what he says… (If I must put it super Politely.)
• Only child, though he was close with some cousins in his youth and basically considered them siblings to some degree. He does not remain in contact with them anymore ever since moving out, and they probably think he's dead. *shrug*
• His parents and some relatives died to the anomaly that his body currently is fused with.
• Was in captivity under the anomaly for like a decade or possibly more so you can imagine what that does to a guy. I think he found out way too much about himself, others, and the world.
• Has a fascination with the dead and death itself that often borders on creepy or strange, perhaps romanticized, maybe sexual. It's because of the feeling of control it gives him, even when it comes to his own death, but I wouldn't say he does anything toooooo drastic? Ahaha. #WatDatMean
• Everytime I RP or do writing prompts as him it's like he takes over my writing style in a really evil way. Seriously.
• I have two public playlists for him. This is the main, more organized one. This is my otakuslop one.
